Podcast

1.       You are going to make a 1-2 minute podcast, or an audio recording that people can download

2.       It is going to be similar to the CBS Sports Minute that you hear on the radio

3.       Listen to a sample here, which is NBA commentator Tom Tolbert talking about the NCAA http://newyork.cbslocal.com/audio/1667-cbs-sports-minute/

4.       I went and downloaded the audio editing software called Audacity at www.audacity.com

5.       I watched this tutorial on YouTube on how to edit files in Audacity http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7BZjjH4I9M

6.       Pick a topic, appropriate of course, in the sports world

7.       Record your commentary on audacity, making sure you begin your commentary with an intro audio of about five seconds

8.       You must have audio in the background, which I “quieted” in Audacity

9.       My example, on the 2012 GBN Spartan Sophomore Football team, is below

10. Turn it in using Edmodo, and also put it on your web site
